McLane Intelligent Solutions (MIS) was founded in 1999 as JC Technology Group (JCTG), a local Temple, TX IT service group. JCTG was acquired by Drayton McLane in the summer of 2004 and became the Commercial Services Group of McLane Advanced Technologies. Recognizing the need to focus on the private and education sectors, Drayton spun off the Commercial Services unit and formed McLane Intelligent Solutions. It was founded on a core set of values and business principles that have guided the business since its inception. Those original principles were:

- Always be on time – keep our commitments

As a “sister company” to the Houston Astros, McLane Advanced Technologies, McLane Global and others, MIS was founded by entrepreneur Drayton McLane Jr. on a solid history of business experience and practical “know-how”. In addition, MIS’s first class executive management team has deep business experience.
